Grass-roots party member is the main body to carry out the party's line, principles and policies, maintain the party's advanced nature and practice the purpose of serving the people. Education and training directly determine the quality and role of party member, and ultimately determine the success or failure of the party's various undertakings. With concern about this issue, our research team went deep into towns, villages, companies and directly affiliated enterprises in our city, and conducted research among leaders in charge at all levels, middle-level cadres, unemployed party member and ordinary people through grass-roots visits, questionnaires and discussions, and made an investigation in the activity room of party member. Through listening, speaking, analyzing and synthesizing, it is found that the education and training work in party member at the grass-roots level in our city has made some achievements, but there are also the following problems:

First, the density is not enough and lacks regularity. There are many grass-roots party organizations in education and training in party member, with insufficient activity density and lack of regularity. Some organizations only organize education and training in party member when their superiors have activities and requirements; However, the education and training activities in rural party member are generally poor, so it is good to organize them once a month on party member Activity Day. Most of them have little or no activity at ordinary times. This unhealthy trend is far from the requirements of the Opinions on Strengthening Regular Education in party member issued by the Central Committee.

Second, the form is not alive and lacks diversity. In the existing education and training, there is a lack of flexible and colorful forms. Generally, it is a single form such as reading notices, learning documents and reading newspapers. You read me, listen to me and call me. This kind of commonplace and boring indoctrination education and training, most of party member has produced "antibodies" to it, and naturally it will not have a good education and training effect.

Third, the combination is not close and lacks pertinence. Most of the education and training of party organizations are theories, and learning means learning and discussing others. Can not be closely linked with their own study, work and life, lack of due pertinence. In particular, party member's most concerned matters are rarely involved, which leads to the disconnection between theory and practice, learning and application, and education and training cannot play its due role.

Four, party member, lack of consciousness. Some party member are unwilling to participate in education and training, and lack inner consciousness. When party organizations carry out education and training activities, they either go slow or make up excuses to affect the activities.
