Relevant policies and regulations on college students' enlistment in the army
The relevant policies and regulations for college students to enlist in the army are as follows:

1. Priority selection and use.

Under the same conditions, college soldiers give priority to non-commissioned officers, entering military schools and assigning technical posts. Soldiers with a bachelor's degree or above and a corresponding degree who perform well and meet the relevant regulations can be directly selected as officers.

According to the General Staff Department, the General Political Department and the General Logistics Department's "Interim Measures for Selecting Officers from College Graduates" and other relevant regulations, he participated in the unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities nationwide and obtained a full-time undergraduate degree and bachelor's degree.

After enlisting in the army, the actual performance is good, and the age is not more than 26 years old (three graduates should also serve as squad leaders or vice squad leaders, or be awarded third-class merit or above, or be rated as military training pacesetters). Those who have joined the army 1 year and a half or more and have worked in the recommended brigade (regiment) level units for more than half a year can be promoted to cadres according to procedures.

Graduates with full-time college education can take the unified undergraduate entrance examination and enter the relevant military training in military academies for 2 years.

The age of college graduate soldiers who participate in the selection and admission of good soldier candidates is relaxed to 1 year. Under the same conditions, he will be given priority as a recommended candidate and will be admitted to military academies for training in accordance with relevant regulations. For those with bachelor degree or above, 6 months of on-the-job training will be arranged, and for those with college degree or above, 2 years of bachelor degree training will be arranged.

2. tuition compensation.

According to the standard of no more than 6000 yuan per year, the state gives tuition fees or national student loan compensation to college graduates and compulsory military service students. This year, the state further simplified the tuition compensation procedures and shortened the application and redemption period.

The implementation of "down payment in the current year, factual settlement in the next year" will be advanced by the school, and previous graduates will be included in the compensation scope. At the same time, college students and high school graduates who have just been admitted to colleges and universities can retain their school status after being approved to join the army and enjoy the national tuition subsidy policy after retiring from active service.

This year, in order to facilitate college students to apply for the exam, the state stipulates that fresh graduates and students can apply for the exam at the place where they live, or at the place where the school is located. Those who join the army for compulsory military service from the place where the school is located shall be given family preferential payments by the people's government of the county (city, district) where the school is located.
