1, academic nature
Art College of Nantong University (School of Architecture) is a secondary college affiliated to Nantong University. Its predecessor was the Art Department of Nantong Normal University founded by 1984, and the Art Department of Nantong Education College founded by 1980 also established the Art Department. It has a development history of more than 30 years. By 2022, the Art College of Nantong University has six departments and twelve majors, among which fine arts (normal school) and visual communication design are national first-class undergraduate majors, and musicology (normal school) is Jiangsu first-class undergraduate majors.
2. Construction achievements
Since 20 16, the college has hosted 4 national projects, 2 provincial projects such as the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture 12, undertaken 35 provincial scientific research projects and more than 40 university-level projects. The national exhibition sponsored by China Artists Association and other units has published nearly 300 works of art, won more than 50 awards at the provincial level, and held more than 50 solo concerts in China Art Museum and China National Academy of Painting. Some of his works have been selected for international exchanges and collected by China National Museum, China Art Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum and other institutions.
3. Academic exchange
In recent years, the College has made great efforts to build an international exchange platform, and successively cooperated with the University of Florence, Italy, the University of Greenstock, Taiwan Province, China, the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Turin, Italy, the National Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts of Ukraine, and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, to send outstanding young teachers to study abroad, organize graduate students to study in Slovenia, Italy, Ukraine and other countries, broaden students' international horizons, and promote the cultivation of more competitive international professionals.
