Fudan Qiushi College of Continuing Education was established in 1993. Mr. Su, the old president of Fudan University, academician of China Academy of Sciences, vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a famous mathematician, personally wrote the name of Fudan Qiushi College. Mr. Xie Xide, the old president of Fudan University, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, a famous physicist and social activist, gave great care and support to the early work of the college. Professor Fang, the former vice president of Fudan University, the current chairman of Fudan University Old Professors Association and Fudan University Retired Teachers Association, is the chairman of the college board of directors.
The College is located in the Handan Campus of Fudan University, located at No.58, Guo Da Road, Yangpu District, adjacent to Wujiaochang Business Circle of Shanghai Sub-center and No.3 Bay Plaza of Pioneer Park in Yangpu District, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. The college has a brand-new teaching office building with an area of 2,500 square meters, with independent property rights, excellent teaching teachers and first-class teaching facilities.
For more than 20 years, the college has followed the tenet of "seeking truth from facts and pursuing Excellence", with the main goal of creating a learning society and building a lifelong education system, and the fundamental task of developing non-academic education and training at all levels and building a brand. The college was approved by Shanghai Yangpu District Education Bureau and registered by Shanghai Yangpu District Civil Affairs Bureau. Fudan University Old Professors Association and Fudan University Retired Teachers Association co-organized.
College is an advanced collective of private schools in Yangpu District, an excellent counseling and training institution in Shanghai, and a price integrity unit in Shanghai. College is the vice president of Yangpu District Education and Training Association and the director of Shanghai Lifelong Education Research Association. College is the first batch of qualified units of higher education self-study examination approved by Shanghai Education Commission.
