The Management Cadre College of the Ministry of Civil Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the Civil Affairs College) was formerly the cadre school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs established by 1959. 1983 12 With the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Education formally established the Management Cadre College of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. 1984 college education began in July. 1995 the training center of the Ministry of civil affairs was established, co-located with the management cadre college of the Ministry of civil affairs, with one institution and two brands. At present, the college mainly undertakes the on-the-job training task of directly under the authority cadres and systematic civil affairs cadres and workers of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. At the same time, it also cooperates with other universities to train talents in social work, civil affairs and community construction.

The newly-built training building should be used for the education and training of civil affairs cadres. Up to now, the first phase of the project has been put into use, and it can train cadres 100 people at the same time. After the second phase of the project is completed, it can provide training services for 300 civil affairs cadres at the same time.

After more than ten years of development, the college has laid a solid foundation in specialty construction, teaching staff, teaching materials and scientific research. At present, the college has four departments: Civil Affairs Department, Social Work Department, Economics and Information Department, Prosthetics and Orthopedics Department, Prosthetics Research Institute of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and Civil Affairs10/(Funeral) Research Institute.
