Neutral density attenuation sheet is made by using the absorption characteristics of matter to light, and placed on the optical path, which can attenuate the light intensity. This sheet-like element is called an optical attenuation sheet.
The amount of light passing through the attenuation sheet is related to the material type and material thickness. For example, the standard transmittance on the attenuation sheet is 0.02, which means that the light passes through the attenuation sheet and only transmits 2% of the original light intensity.
A beam of light contains light of different wavelengths. Neutral attenuation sheet means that light with different wavelengths attenuates in the same proportion after passing through this attenuation sheet.
