In order to standardize the professional ability construction and management of maternal and child health workers, authorized by the Department of Maternal and Child Health of the National Health and Wellness Committee, the China Maternal and Child Health Association and the Talent Exchange Service Center of the National Health and Wellness Committee jointly carried out the training and assessment of maternal and child health workers. Maternal and child health care workers belong to one of the types of medical clinical assistants in the profession of medical assistants.
