Geely University is a full-time private undergraduate college independently established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Geely Holding Group, a fortune 500 company, was founded in Beijing on 1999, and its predecessor was Beijing geely university. On April 30th, 20 14, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education and renamed Beijing Geely University.
The school now has eight secondary colleges, including Automotive Engineering College, Intelligent Science and Technology College, Business School, Shengbao Financial Science and Technology College, Humanities College, Art and Design College, Sports and Health College, Aerospace College, Boya College (General Education), Marxism College and Innovation and Entrepreneurship College.
