LPI Level 1: Personnel who have obtained Level 1 certification can use the command line of Linux to complete simple maintenance tasks, help users solve problems, join users in a larger system, back up, restore, shut down and restart the system, install and configure workstations (including X workstations) and connect to the LAN.

LPI Level 2: Personnel who have obtained Level 2 certification can manage the planning, implementation, maintenance, consistency and security of a small and medium-sized website, and can maintain a small and comprehensive network (MS, Linux), including: local area network server (samba), Internet gateway (firewall, proxy server, email, news) and Internet server (web server, FTP server).

LPI level 3: those who have obtained level 3 certification can use open source tools for planning and troubleshooting, and can use LDAP to integrate Unix servers and Windows servers, such as Samba, PAM, e-mail, directory services, etc. And you can use Samba and LDAP as services to plan, design and establish a complete environment and security plan. Manage large enterprise networks, provide network file system and printing services for large enterprises, use Samba server to provide related resources, work in mixed environment, troubleshoot, and integrate with core network services.
