Song Zijing, a native of Zhengzhou, was influenced by his father since childhood. He began to learn erhu at the age of 5 and showed great talent in music. He studied under Xu Ying, the famous erhu player Guo Min and Professor Xin Li. In 2002, he studied under Professor Zhao Hanyang from the Central Conservatory of Music, and in 2003, he was admitted to the primary school affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music. After that, he studied erhu under the famous erhu performers and educators Professor Yan Jiemin and Professor Yang Xue. 20 12 was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music with excellent results. He was the chief of Erhu and Zhonghu of China Youth National Orchestra.
