Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 These Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society in order to develop the Red Cross cause with China characteristics.

Article 2 The Red Cross Society of Chongqing University keeps in touch with the Chongqing Red Cross Society, is affiliated to the Federation of Societies, is a group engaged in humanitarian undertakings, and is an important part of the youth of the China Red Cross Society.

Article 3 The purpose of the Red Cross Society of Chongqing University is to carry forward the Red Cross spirit of humanity, fraternity and dedication, protect people's lives and health, and promote the cause of peace and progress of mankind.

Article 4 All members shall be ready to perform their rights and obligations at any time, and be equipped with staff according to the needs of work.

Article 5 The Red Cross Society of Chongqing University shall abide by the school rules and regulations, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society and the Measures for the Use of the Red Cross Signs in People's Republic of China (PRC). Follow the seven basic principles of humanity, justice, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality established by the International Red Cross Movement and work independently.

Article 6 The Red Cross Society of Chongqing University shall follow the principles of independence, equality and mutual respect and participate in the activities of the Red Cross Society of Chongqing.

Article 7 The Red Cross Society of Chongqing University shall establish a federation of school associations.

Chapter II Obligations and Rights

Article 11 The Red Cross Society shall perform the following duties:

(a) to publicize and implement the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society and the Measures for the Use of the Red Cross Symbol in People's Republic of China (PRC);

(four) to assist the Red Cross to carry out the publicity and promotion of blood donation;

(six) to carry out AIDS prevention and health education, care for AIDS patients and other relief work; Carry out other humanitarian relief work;

(seven) to carry out the Red Cross activities beneficial to the physical and mental health of contemporary college students;

(eight) to carry out publicity, mobilization and organization of hematopoietic stem cell donation;

(ten) to complete the relevant matters arranged by the school.

Article 12 The staff of the Red Cross Society have the priority to participate in school-related activities.

Chapter III Members and Volunteers

Article 15 All students of Chongqing University, regardless of nationality, race, sex, occupation, religious belief and education level, can apply to join the Red Cross Society as long as they abide by the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society and recognize its articles of association. Sixteenth members of the Red Cross are divided into individual members and group members. Students who join the Red Cross in their personal capacity are individual members; Taking classes, colleges, societies and other groups as units, the person in charge is responsible for joining the Red Cross as a member of the group.

Article 17 An individual who voluntarily applies for membership shall be approved by the Red Cross Society of his school, reported to the Red Cross Society of our school for the record, and issued a membership card to become a member of the Red Cross Society. The member units of the group should have a special person responsible for the work of the Red Cross.

Eighteenth students who have contributed to the cause of the Red Cross may be awarded the title of honorary member. The title of honorary member is approved by the Municipal Red Cross Society and awarded the honorary title.

Article 19 Membership procedures

1. Fill in the application form, attach my one-inch black and white bareheaded photo, and then submit a photo and 5 yuan membership fee (5 yuan/year).

3. After sworn registration, a "membership card" and a "membership card" will be issued.

Article 20 Rights of members:

(a) to participate in relevant activities, meetings and professional training of the Red Cross;

(2) Having the right to vote, to be elected and to vote;

(4) Wearing the sign of the Red Cross; (5) Other lawful rights and interests. The rights of group members are exercised by the relevant person in charge of the class.

Article 21 Obligations of members:

(a) to study, publicize and implement the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society and the Measures for the Use of the Red Cross Symbol in People's Republic of China (PRC); Disseminating basic knowledge of international humanitarian law and the Red Cross Movement;

(2) Abide by the Constitution of China Red Cross Society and the Constitution of Chongqing University Red Cross Society;

(3) Paying membership dues on schedule;

(four) to complete the tasks assigned by the Red Cross; Safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the Red Cross.

Twenty-second members have the freedom to withdraw from the meeting. If a member withdraws from the meeting, the membership card will be withdrawn after being audited by the original approval department; Individual members are required to report to the school Red Cross for the record. A member who has one of the following circumstances shall be deemed to have resigned voluntarily: (1) Not participating in Red Cross activities for three consecutive months (except holidays); (2) Failing to pay the membership dues for three consecutive months; (three) the person in charge of the group members is revoked or dissolved.

Twenty-third students of the whole school, regardless of their major or grade, can become Red Cross volunteers as long as they abide by the rules and regulations of the school and provide humanitarian services voluntarily and free of charge. The Red Cross Societies in hospitals should actively develop the Red Cross volunteer team, provide necessary working conditions for volunteers and organize them to carry out humanitarian services. Volunteer workers should follow the purpose of the Red Cross, carry forward the spirit of the Red Cross, participate in the activities of the Red Cross and provide voluntary services.

Article 24 Members shall enjoy and bear the rights and obligations stipulated in the Constitution of China Red Cross Society and these Articles of Association.

Chapter IV Organizational Structure

Article 25 The highest authority of the Red Cross Society of Chongqing University is the member congress of the Red Cross Society of Chongqing University. After the establishment of the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee will hold a regular meeting every two weeks, which will be convened by the Office of the Standing Committee. In case of special circumstances, it can be held in advance or postponed. The Standing Committee of the Red Cross Society of our school is generally composed of the president, vice president, heads of departments attending the meeting (both directors and deputy directors) and other specially appointed representatives.

The functions and powers of the General Assembly of the Red Cross and its Standing Committee are: (1) to elect members of the presidium and members of the Standing Committee of the Red Cross; (2) Amending the Constitution of the Red Cross Society of Chongqing University; (three) to examine and approve the work reports and financial reports of various departments; (four) to review and approve the work plans submitted by various departments; (five) to decide on major issues of the school Red Cross.

Article 26 The Red Cross Society of Chongqing University shall have an honorary president and an honorary vice president, and may have consultants according to the needs of the work.

Article 28 Under the leadership and supervision of the school Red Cross Society, the college-level Red Cross Society shall carry out relevant work in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Red Cross Society, the articles of association and the characteristics of each college.

Chapter V Funds and Property

Article 29 The main sources of funds for the school Red Cross Society are: (1) membership fees paid by members of the Red Cross Society; (2) Accepting subsidies from Chongqing Red Cross Society; (3) Funding from schools; (4) Other lawful income.
