3, network cable, if your broadband uses an optical cat or ADSL dialer, and you have a desktop computer, you need at least two network cables, 1 network cable connects the router and the off-cat or ADSL dialer, and the other network cable connects the computer and the router.

Second, the installation steps:

1, the operator line is connected to the modem, and the WAN port is connected to our computer through the network cable;

2. Find a network connection on your computer, and then click Set up a new connection or network;

3. Select to connect to the Internet, and then click Next to continue;

4. Click on broadband PPPOE to enter broadband connection settings;

5. Enter the account password provided by the operator, click Connect, and start trying to dial;

6. The next time you use it, you just need to find the broadband connection on the network connection page or on the desktop, right-click the mouse and select Connect.
