During the Republic of China, there were many famous martial artists, including Dong Haichuan and his disciples Jiang, Guo and Sun Lutang. Fu in Wudang, Xu Benshan, Yang Luchan and Chen Fake in Taiji, Huo Yuanjia in the Yellow River, Du in the Yangtze River, and Wang Wu in Jianzong are too numerous to mention. During the Republic of China, there were experts from all walks of life.
