The Historical Sound of the Exhibition Hall of the Former Site of Tianjin Frontier Command in Ping Jin Campaign
Everyone in Tianjin knows and will always remember the day 1949 65438+ 10/5, because it is the day of Tianjin's liberation and the day of an important large-scale battle victory in the third revolutionary civil war. It was precisely because of the victory of the battle of Peiping and Tianjin that the enemy troops on the defensive in Beiping were in a desperate situation, and Fu accepted the conditions of peaceful adaptation. With reverence, we found a quadrangle in Yaowangmiao East Street, Yangliuqing Town 1 1 Street, Xiqing District of this city, which is the former site of Tianjin Front Command of Tianjin Campaign. Liu Yalou, commander of Tianjin Frontline Command, held high-level military meetings here for many times to deploy operational plans. In order to commemorate this great battle to liberate Tianjin, 1962, the then Hebei provincial government approved the old headquarters as a cultural relics protection unit in Hebei province, and 1982, the Tianjin Municipal People's Government re-announced it as a municipal cultural relics protection unit. 1984 was renovated and turned into the "Exhibition Hall of the Former Site of Tianjin Frontier Command of Ping Jin Campaign".

This quadrangle is located in the old residential protection area planned by Xiqing District. Although the blue brick house is a little old, it has obvious traces of maintenance and protection compared with the surrounding buildings. Entering the quadrangle, the regular pattern design is no different from the traditional quadrangle in northern China. Compared with the style and luxury of a big family like Shi Jia Courtyard, it is more simple and real.

According to the old master who takes care of this yard, this yard was originally worn by a small rich man who opened a bank in the city. The family has a small population and is very low-key. Of course, foreigners staying here will not attract too much attention. In addition, the yard is neither ostentatious nor enough. It should be a good choice to be a front-line headquarters in Tianjin. After all, it was still a white area at that time, and there were often some spies. The Kuomintang also sent planes to drop bombs here. Fortunately, the bomb dropped was a little off center and blew up the nearby children's yard. Fortunately, this courtyard was completely preserved, and it was not until the 1980s that it was restored to its original appearance. The battle map, telephone, sofa, desk, chair and bed are still in their original positions. Although it is not much, it can still remind people of the days of fierce fighting.
