Irrigation and drainage of bamboo shoot planting;
In the southern region, when there is typhoon and rainstorm between rainy season and summer and autumn, drainage should be done well to prevent water accumulation and whipping in low-lying areas. In case of autumn drought, irrigation should be done in time to prevent excessive soil from hindering the formation and expansion of bamboo shoots and affecting their annual output. In areas with less rainfall, especially before bamboo shoots appear in spring or whips in summer and soil freezes in winter, special attention should be paid to irrigation.
Pest control:
1. Maintaining the ecological environment: protecting the forest environment around the bamboo forest, enriching the species resources of the poplar forest biological community, forming a reasonable food web chain, and stabilizing and promoting the balance of the ecosystem;
2. Bamboo forest management: reclaiming in winter and removing in summer, destroying the wintering places of pests and reducing the population of pests;
3. Bamboo forest cleaning: timely clean and remove bamboo shoots and old, weak and inferior bamboos harmed by pests and diseases, remove the source of pests and diseases in the forest, and improve the bamboo forest environment.
