3. Drug production and quality management:
The functions of the National Committee on Essential Drugs do not include the specific management of pharmaceutical production enterprises and the supervision of drug quality. The State Food and Drug Administration of the United States strictly supervises the production and quality management of drugs, including drug production license, quality inspection and market monitoring.
4. Drug price management:
The National Essential Drugs Working Committee is not responsible for drug pricing and price management. The price management of drugs is the responsibility of the National Development and Reform Commission and relevant departments, including the regulation and supervision of drug prices.
5. Health insurance policy formulation:
The National Essential Drugs Working Committee does not formulate medical insurance policies. The formulation of medical insurance policies is the responsibility of the National Health and Wellness Committee and the National Medical Insurance Bureau, including the coverage of medical insurance, reimbursement ratio and policy implementation.
6. Medical research and education:
The National Committee for Essential Drugs does not engage in medical research and education.
