Requirements for psychological counselors to apply for examinations
A psychological counselor (with one of the following conditions):
1) has a doctor's degree in psychology, education and medicine, has been trained by a psychological counselor to reach the standard number of hours, has obtained a certificate of completion, and has been engaged in psychological counseling for 3 years.
2) Have a master's degree, obtain the second-class professional qualification certificate of psychological counselor, have been engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years, have passed the first-class formal training of psychological counselor and reached the required standard hours, and have obtained the certificate of completion.
3) Have the qualifications for professional and technical positions in psychology, education and medicine, obtain the formal training of standard hours prescribed by psychological counselors, and obtain the certificate of completion, and have been engaged in psychological counseling for 3 years continuously.
Psychological counselor level 2 (with one of the following conditions):
1) holds a doctorate in psychology, education and medicine.
2) Have a master's degree in psychology, pedagogy and medicine, have passed the second-level formal training of psychological counselors and reached the required standard hours, and have obtained a certificate of completion.
3) Obtain the third-level professional qualification certificate of psychological counselor, have been engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years, and have reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselor, and obtain the certificate of completion.
4) Have intermediate or above professional and technical qualifications in psychology, education and medicine, and have been engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years after reaching the required standard hours through the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and have obtained a certificate of completion.
Psychological counselor level 3 (with one of the following conditions):
1) Bachelor degree or above in psychology, education and medicine.
2) Have a college degree in psychology, education and medicine, and have passed the three-level formal training of psychological counselors to reach the required standard hours, and have obtained a certificate of completion.
3) Have a bachelor's degree or above in other majors, have passed the three-level formal training of psychological counselors and reached the required standard hours, and have obtained a certificate of completion.
