Zhenlan Palace is located on the small island of Pinghai Peninsula in Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province (on Shiziling Mountain in Yu Xia, dongqiao town, Xiuyu District), facing Meizhou Island, the hometown of the sea god Mazu. It is the palace that Mazu built in his dream. Zhenlan Palace (Mazu Palace) was built in June 1994, with a construction area of 233 square meters. The style of the palace is the same as the main hall of Meizhou ancestral hall, and the statue of Mazu is the same as that in the ancestral hall. When the temple was built, it was donated to Meizhou Ancestral Temple, and the inscription "God shows the sea surface" was engraved on it. Later, Mazu, the ancestral temple of Meizhou, was given the golden body of Langong in Yu Xia Town. Zhenlan Palace is a magnificent building with two halls and a courtyard. On the roof, dragons play with pearls, cornices become warped. The inscription "Zhenlan Palace" at the palace gate is vigorous and powerful, and the couplets on both sides of the gate are "Zhenguo Anbang makes great efforts to govern Yu Xia, with steady waves, and Shengde traces back to Meizhou." The flower window next to the door is engraved with "Golden Dragon for Life". Carving dragons and painting phoenixes in the palace is exquisite and lifelike. Plaques such as "Don't make waves" and "Protect the country and the people" are hung on the beam. In the main hall, the altar is dedicated to Mazu, the altar on the left is dedicated to Emperor Xie Tian, and the altar on the right is dedicated to Emperor Wenchang. Both sides of the front hall are dedicated to clairvoyance and clairvoyance respectively.
The palace is full of incense and is a temple for people to worship devoutly. On the Lantern Festival in the first month, on March 23rd, the statue of Mazu is worshipped in the suburbs, which will benefit all the people.
During the Ming Dynasty (more than 400 years), people drifted at sea to make a living, built seawalls and salt fields, and lived and worked in peace and contentment here. At that time, Mazu was worshipped and temporarily stayed in Xia's eastern and western societies for the world to see.
On June 365438+1October 3 1 day, 2008, Zhenlan Palace and Mazu cultural institutions in 18 countries and regions at home and abroad held 323 Mazu Farewells and participated in the celebration of "Mazu's Return to the Mother's Home".
At noon on June 2, 2009, 165438+ Meizhou Mazu came to Xinghua for the first time, and local believers burned incense and worshipped.
