China Oriental Performing Arts Group, a public institution, is a national performing arts cultural group that was restructured from China Oriental Song and Dance Troupe as a whole, and is a pilot unit of national cultural system reform. The Ministry of Finance performs the responsibilities of investor, so China Oriental Performing Arts Group has its own establishment.

China Oriental Performing Arts Group has formed a collectivized and large-scale management system. It has seven art performance groups, including Oriental Song and Dance Troupe, China Song and Dance Troupe, Oriental National Orchestra, Oriental Pop Orchestra, Oriental Dance Troupe, Oriental Love Journey Vocal Art Troupe and Oriental Symphony Orchestra, as well as many subsidiaries such as China Oriental Performing Arts Group Art Training School, Oriental New World Culture and Art Co., Ltd., Oriental New Feeling Audio and Video Publishing House, Oriental Rong Sheng Culture and Art Co., Ltd. and Oriental Art Trading Company.
