Hongwei village is located in the northwest of the county seat. From 1950 to 1954, it is Fuxing Township, Chengguan Commune, Ninghua County. Before the reform and opening up, it was changed to a grand brigade. After the reform and opening up, it was Hongwei Village, Cuijiang Town, Ninghua County. The village covers an area of 3.3 square kilometers, with 13 villagers' groups and 460 households 1709 people in party member. Cultivated land area 177 1 mu, mountainous area of 2963 mu (including 2423 mu of economic forest, 50 mu of bamboo forest and other 490 mu), and vegetable planting area of more than 360 mu. It is one of the main vegetable basket bases for urban residents.

There are some tourist attractions near Hongwei Village, such as the Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs, Xiaoxi Xie Jia Temple, Ninghua Hakka Ancestral Land, the former site of the Armed Peasant Uprising Command of Ninghua Southwest Five Townships (Cao Fang), the site of the Tubo Battle in Quanshang, and other specialties, such as Ninghua Miren, Kongkeng Tea, Dragon Gong Mi, Huaitu Tea Oil, Ninghua Coicis Semen and so on.
