Xiamen information school
Xiamen Information School (formerly Xiamen Electronic Vocational Secondary School, Fujian Province) was founded in 198 1 and was restructured from the ordinary high school of Xiamen Datong Middle School (Xiamen No.4 Middle School). 1984, the vocational high school was transformed into a vocational middle school, named "Xiamen Electronic Vocational Middle School"; 1995, renamed as "Xiamen Electronic Vocational Secondary School in Fujian Province".
It was recognized as a national key secondary vocational school in 2000. 20 1 1 approved the national model school for the reform and development of secondary vocational education. On April 20 14, with the approval of the Office of the Organizing Committee of Xiamen Municipal Committee, Xiamen Electronic Vocational Secondary School in Fujian Province was officially renamed as Xiamen Information School.
The school is directly under the Municipal Education Bureau, with 9 1 class, 4,387 students and 29 1 faculty. At present, there are six major categories 19 secondary vocational majors and 9 (3+2) five-year specialties in information technology, transportation, processing and manufacturing, civil water conservancy, finance and trade, and education.
Taking "based in Xiamen, serving Haixi, opening up and developing innovatively" as the school goal, "skills and responsibilities" as the school motto, "making every student an adult" as the school philosophy, and adhering to the school policy of "innovating characteristics and standardizing quality", the school has gradually formed the school characteristics of "combining work with study, combining school with enterprise, outstanding skills and harmonious development".

The school pays attention to the characteristic construction and connotation development, and has established the national vocational skill appraisal station, the national advanced computer information technology test center, the national computer grade examination test center, and the distance training of information technology and application (IT&; AT) "training point, which provides all kinds of training and qualification certification for students in school.
Actively explore diversified vocational education mode, cooperate with many enterprises to establish off-campus training base, comprehensively carry out "work-study combination", and implement fine management of students' internship in enterprises.
At the same time, it runs a school jointly with Ciming High School in Taichung, Taiwan Province, majoring in multimedia and animation. All the basic and specialized courses are taught by teachers from Ciming High School in Taiwan Province. The school comprehensively carried out education and teaching reform, implemented small class teaching, and "6s management" entered the classroom, class and dormitory.
Taking cultivating students' professional quality as the breakthrough point and important goal of teaching reform has continuously improved students' learning motivation, learning confidence and learning ability, and effectively improved the effectiveness of classroom teaching.
At the same time, the school has deeply promoted the improvement of students' ideological and moral character and comprehensive quality through various forms.
