Jinhua Senior Technical School (Jinhua Technician College) is a full-time public school focusing on training high (middle) level skilled personnel, integrating specialist (undergraduate) education, vocational training, skill appraisal and employment guidance. It is a national key technical school and a national high-skilled personnel training base.

The school was founded in May 1979, located in Huikeng Village, Andi, surrounded by green hills. It was originally named Jinhua County Technical School. 198 1 Jinhua county was changed to city, and the school was renamed Jinhua Technical School accordingly. 1985, Jinhua withdrew land to build a city, and the school was changed to the jurisdiction of Jinhua City at the prefecture level. 1988 moved to No.562, Shuangxi West Road, south of beautiful Wujiang River. 1993, after the adjustment of the school leadership, in order to meet the needs of the talent market, it has acquired bankrupt and closed enterprises for four times and continuously expanded the scale of running schools. 1August 1995, 1995 was awarded as "provincial key technical school" by the provincial people's government,1May 1996, 1996 was designated as "national vocational skill appraisal institute" by the provincial labor department. In March 2002, it was awarded "National Key Technical School" by the Ministry of Social Security and upgraded to "Senior Technical School". In May, 2003, the Department of Labor and Social Security and the Provincial Planning Commission jointly added the brand of "Jinhua Technician College" below.
