Qujing is a prefecture-level city under Yunnan Province. Located in the east of Yunnan Province, bordering Guizhou Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the east, Wenshan Prefecture and Honghe Prefecture in the south, Kunming City in the west, Zhaotong City and Bijie City in Guizhou Province in the north, it is a frontier inland. Qujing, known as "the key to Yunnan and Guizhou" and "the throat of Yunnan", is 0/20km away from Kunming/KLOC, the provincial capital.
