Associate Professor Zhou introduced the development course and research results of the National Research Center for Electric Energy Conversion and Control Engineering Technology.

According to Associate Professor Zhou, the National Power Conversion and Control Engineering Technology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Research Center") was established in 20 13 with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, relying on Hunan University and being in charge of the Ministry of Education. The research center mainly focuses on the key theoretical and technical problems of electric energy conversion and control in China, and carries out technical research, achievement transformation, application promotion and scientific and technological services. Under the leadership of Academician Luo An, the research center has made major breakthroughs in three research directions: electrical equipment power conversion and control technology, enterprise distribution network power quality control technology and enterprise power optimization and coordinated control technology. It pioneered the world-leading high-density magnetic field electromagnetic stirring system for wide and thick slabs, the first 50kA copper foil electrolytic power supply system in China, and the special power supply system for MW Island, which have been applied in more than 200 enterprises and national defense units at home and abroad, resulting in direct economic benefits. By establishing the alliance of "production, learning, research and use" with many enterprises, more than 20 kinds of electric energy conversion and control equipment developed by the research center are widely used in steel, metallurgy, petrochemical, electric power and other industries, leading and driving the development of relevant industrial chains in the field of electric energy conversion and control in China.

Associate Professor Zhou said that Jingneng New Energy, as the top ten brands of charging piles, has a leading position in research and development technology and production strength in the industry, which is very conducive to the transformation of scientific research achievements in colleges and universities.
