Dongguan National Defense Education and Training Base is located in Li Anping Village, Dalingshan Town, covering an area of 180 mu, with a building area of 32 1000 square meters and a usable area of 27,500 square meters. The base has a comprehensive building, a guard building, a training ground, a shooting range, an anti-aircraft gun depot and a militia equipment depot. The comprehensive building includes the main building and annex buildings on both sides. The second floor is the reception area and national defense education exhibition hall, and the third floor is the office area, electronic classroom, library, equipment room and activity room. The fourth floor is the teaching area, the fifth to eleventh floors are the dormitory for training students, and the annex buildings on both sides are the conscription medical examination station and the dormitory for military training classes. The security building includes an auditorium, a canteen and a reception restaurant. The training ground includes the same subject training ground, tactical training ground, psychological training ground and 400-meter obstacle course. In order to facilitate the management and operation of the base, there are also study rooms and recreation rooms.

Dongguan National Defense Education and Training Base mainly undertakes the training of specialized military cadres and militia, military training for students, training for other enterprises and institutions, education and training activities organized by legal institutions in the base and national defense knowledge education. The base shall designate a special person to track and coordinate the whole training process.

The base has complete supporting facilities and beautiful environment, which can accommodate 800 people at the same time. There are two kinds of accommodation, one is a guest house, which is divided into standard rooms and suites. The standard room is 88 * * *, which can accommodate 176 people. There are 33 suites, which can accommodate 33 people. The guest room is equipped with toiletries. The other is accommodation in the military training building, equipped with military quilts, cotton pads, sheets, bedside tables, buckets, hangers and other daily necessities.
