Up to now, there are eight national animation teaching and research bases in China, namely:
1.2004 Approved and established: China Communication University, Beijing Film Academy, China Academy of Fine Arts, Animation Institute of Jilin Art Institute (now renamed Jilin Animation Institute, privately run).
2. Established in 2008: Zhejiang University? Zhejiang Institute of Media
3. Established in 2009: Xi Academy of Fine Arts Radio, Film and Television Management Cadre College.
Among the eight universities, China Communication University and Beijing Film Academy have made outstanding achievements, and there are not a few works that won prizes at the International Animation Film Festival, even in the rankings of domestic universities.
In addition, Mei Qing, Beisoft, Beijing Institute of Printing, Nanjing Institute of Art, Shanghai University, Nanjing Normal University and other schools have good strength, and a small number of excellent works have also appeared. Others such as Wuhan University of Technology, Nakagawa Nanguang College, Tianjin University, Southeast University, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, sichuan fine arts institute, Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts are also acceptable.
Personally, I suggest China Media and Beijing Film Academy. The school is not only in the capital, it will provide you with some rich resources, and it is one of the earliest schools to set up a research base.
