History of Zhengzhou Technician College
In an eventful year, the wind and rain are hard to calm down. It has been more than 50 years since 1958 was founded. With the changes of the times in the construction and development of ethnic vocational education, it has been renamed and relocated several times, and has experienced three major entrepreneurial processes, winding forward step by step, and has embarked on an independent, self-reliant and unique development path. Fifty years ago, Zhengzhou No.1 Workers' Technical School, the predecessor of the College, was located at No.3 13, Waiying Street, Zhengzhou City, covering an area of 15 mu, with 0/3 teaching staff. At that time, it was born to cultivate technical talents urgently needed for industrial construction in the Central Plains. With the start of the industrial economy in the Central Plains, the college began a hard pioneering period. 1958 to 1969, the school was closed due to the cultural revolution. During this period, 12, * * enrolled 7 students and trained 1905 graduates, majoring in turning, pliers, milling and planing. After that, the school resumed classes on 1974 and established "Zhengzhou Technical School". Due to the lack of school buildings and teachers, the Municipal Labor Bureau entrusted Zhengzhou No.2 Diesel Engine Factory to run a school and named it "Zhengzhou No.2 Diesel Engine Factory Technical School". 1976 was renamed "Zhengzhou Technical School" and merged with Zhengzhou Accounting School to recruit 400 students from five majors: lathe worker, locksmith, foundry worker, electrician and accountant. It is one of the earliest schools after the Cultural Revolution in Zhengzhou. The predecessors who have devoted themselves to the career of vocational and technical education in the motherland stick to their posts, pursue tirelessly, go through hardships and never give up no matter how difficult they encounter. Their dedication, dedication and love for the school have laid a fine tradition of hard work, simplicity and pioneering spirit in Zhengzhou Technician College, and set an example for the successors. This period is the first pioneering course in the history of college construction and development. College has trained 3 156 qualified skilled workers for industrial enterprises in Zhengzhou. Most of them are hardworking, enterprising and hard-working, and later become the backbone of enterprises and institutions in Zhengzhou and Henan Province. 1979, with the approval of the provincial editorial board, the provincial construction committee and the municipal construction committee, the College acquired 7 1.685 mu of land in Liu Xiaogang Brigade of Jinhai Commune in Zhongyuan District, that is, the current campus was established. Under the leadership of the Party branch of the school, the whole school staff worked hard for more than three months, and built a bungalow of 1 133.7 square meters, which basically solved the accommodation, teaching and office space for teachers and students. 1983 the school has begun to take shape. It was recognized as 1985 qualified technical school, 199 1 excellent technical school and 1997 excellent technical school by the provincial and municipal conditions. The level of running a school has made two leaps, and the cradle of technical education in the Central Plains has also begun to be built. During this period, the school put forward seven measures, such as improving teachers' quality, attaching importance to hardware construction, advocating teaching and research, and invigorating campus culture. A large number of "excellent teachers", "people's teachers" and "model workers" named by provinces, cities and countries have emerged, and the scale of running schools has been further expanded. At the beginning of the new century, the spring breeze of the state vigorously developing vocational education has spread all over China. Zhengzhou Technician College, which keeps pace with the times, has not stopped moving forward. With the deepening of reform and opening up, national industrial enterprises are booming, and modernization calls for highly skilled talents. The school adapts to this requirement, grasps the development opportunity and actively promotes the transformation and development of the college. In order to further improve the quality and level of running a school, the college put forward the development idea of "practicing internal strength, improving quality, improving level and creating first-class", which promoted the construction of teaching quality and the improvement of education level in all directions. In March and August, 2002, it was approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as a national key technical school and a senior technical school respectively. In February 2003, it was identified as "the first batch of national training bases for high-skilled talents (electromechanical engineering)", and in June 2004, it was approved as "Zhengzhou Technician College" by Henan Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security. At this point, the college has realized the transformation from a secondary vocational and technical school to a higher vocational and technical college, and at the same time opened the third entrepreneurial journey of the college. In 2002, the college began to offer advanced engineering specialty, and then started to offer technician specialty in 2004, which took the first step in the new journey of cultivating high-skilled talents. In the next few years, according to the market demand, the college determined the training direction of high-skilled talents with "survival by quality and development by characteristics" and launched a diversified school-running model. In 2005, the first fire school in Henan Province was established with Zhengzhou Fire Brigade, and the fire specialty was established. Four campuses, such as Like, have been established with enterprises and social forces; College, Jilin University and Henan University of Technology jointly offer undergraduate and junior college classes. Students can study undergraduate and junior college degrees at the same time, realizing the training mode of "skills plus education" and "certificate plus diploma". In March, 2009, the College was approved by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Henan Province to establish Henan CNC Technician Education Group. Nowadays, Zhengzhou Technician College takes electromechanical specialty as the leader, and can train technicians, senior workers, intermediate workers and other skilled personnel at different levels. After more than 50 years of hard work by several generations of teachers and students, the college has gradually developed into a comprehensive vocational education and training base integrating vocational skills education and training, vocational skills appraisal and vocational guidance. Over the past 50 years, the college has delivered more than 30,000 qualified middle and senior skilled talents to the society, which has been welcomed by large and medium-sized enterprises and employers and has become one of the important bases for cultivating high-quality skilled talents in the Central Plains. The College will continue to adhere to the spirit of seeking truth and being pragmatic, advancing with the times, pioneering and innovating, developing scientifically, waiting for no time, and striving for success, and strive to seize the new territory for training skilled talents, build a high-level "blue-collar" base camp, and make greater contributions to the strategy of the rise of Central China!
