Does CCB credit card pay tuition fees in Hong Kong?
There may be a currency exchange fee, depending on the school POS machine.

If the school POS machine can swipe UnionPay, then swipe the card through UnionPay platform, and the HKD/ MOP of the transaction will be directly converted into RMB without additional handling fee.

On the other hand, you can't take UnionPay, and you need to look at the level of the landlord card through international organizations, such as MasterCard, VISA and JCB.

If the landlord's card is his standard platinum card or above, then the HKD/ MOP of the transaction is converted into RMB, and there is no currency conversion fee.

If the landlord's card is an ordinary card or a gold card, the HKD/ MOP of the transaction will be converted into USD/EUR according to the exchange rate (the specific currency is the same as the foreign currency account of the landlord's credit card) and credited to the foreign currency account, in which the landlord will be charged a currency exchange fee of 1.5%. When paying back the money, the landlord can choose to return the RMB to the credit card and call home for foreign exchange repayment.
