Online registration of IELTS only accepts the following identification documents: candidates from Chinese mainland, Hongkong and Macau register with valid ID cards or passports, candidates from Taiwan Province Province register with valid mainland travel permit for taiwan residents (Taiwan Compatriot Certificate), military personnel from Chinese mainland register with valid military officer cards or ID cards, and non-Chinese mainland candidates register with valid passports.
