In recent years, the training center has vigorously strengthened the construction of training capacity and teaching environment, and modern teaching facilities such as new technology laboratory for weather forecasting, multimedia center and remote live classroom have begun to take shape. The training center gives full play to the advantages of geography, talents, technology and equipment located in Beijing, relies on the public network and the operational satellite communication network of China Meteorological Bureau, establishes a meteorological distance education system with departmental characteristics, and uses video broadcasting to make real-time playback systems to conduct remote training for meteorological operations and management personnel of most meteorological stations in China. At the same time, actively use modern teaching technology, focus on developing a number of distance teaching and multimedia teaching courseware, and accelerate the construction of advanced distance network training system. The library of China Meteorological Bureau, which belongs to the training center, is the most important large-scale scientific and technological literature information service center in the field of meteorological science in China. It not only meets the needs of education and training, but also provides quality services for meteorological business development and scientific research. In 2004, the Business Development and Information Research Office and the Foreign Affairs Service Center of the Bureau were placed under the training center, actively engaged in related business, and strived to provide scientific and technological policy consultation, information and foreign affairs services for China Meteorological Bureau.
