Nantong Vocational College, founded in 1973, is located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, which is known as "the first city in modern China". It is a comprehensive full-time ordinary college approved by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is one of the vocational colleges with the longest running history in China and one of the few vocational colleges in China that integrates academic education, technical education and vocational training.

There are mechanical engineering, electronic information engineering, pharmaceutical and environmental engineering, architectural engineering, automobile and traffic engineering, art design, economic management, international cooperative education (foreign languages), technicians, Haimen, continuing education, Marxism, etc. 12 College. The specialty construction of the school accurately meets the development of regional industries, forming a professional pattern of "industry-oriented, literature, management and art simultaneously". The school creatively put forward eight concepts of "major and industry, curriculum and post, classroom and workshop, scientific research and production, internship and employment, training and types of work, teachers and masters, principals and factory directors" to further promote the integration of production and education, school-enterprise cooperation and social services. The mode of "early linking and directional recommendation" implemented by schools in the 1980s is regarded as the "first order" for the joint training of talents between schools and enterprises in China. The school is the chairman unit of Nantong Construction Industry-Education Alliance. In recent years, we have successively cooperated with Nantong Construction Engineering, AVIC Hi-Tech, Luolai Home Textiles, Jenny Electronics and ZTE to establish Nantong Huaxia Institute of Architecture and Engineering, Nantong Institute of Science and Technology Machinery, Luolai Business School, Jenny Electronics College and ZTE Internet College. In cooperation with well-known enterprises such as ZTE, SAIC-GM, Alibaba, Schneider, etc., the ICT industry innovation base of the Ministry of Education, Shanghai General Motors ASEP project of the Ministry of Education, Alibaba Data Center Training College and Schneider Electric Nantong Training Center have been established, and industrial colleges and enterprise colleges have been established with Jiangshan Agrochemical, Jiangsu Longxin, China Nuclear Power Vico, Wanzhou Petrochemical and other large enterprises to cultivate modern apprentices.
