Generally speaking, it is better to take CET-6 or choose CET-6 training class. After all, the focus of CET-6 and CET-6 is different, and the focus of training will be different. I have attended the CET-6 intensive and intermediate interpretation classes in New Oriental University.

Band 6 training is mainly about listening, reading, writing and synthesis. During the training, you will be taught many exam-taking methods and how to answer questions quickly.

Oral English is mainly listening, reading, translation and interpretation. The emphasis is still on "translation".

Personally, I feel that CET-6 class focuses on improving the ability to take exams, while middle class focuses on improving the comprehensive quality.

If you just think about the written test, the difficulty is not much different from CET-6, and you can pass it with a little training. The difficulty lies in the oral test, which usually depends on listening and reading, and requires high vocabulary and reaction ability.
