1. Run your Vista operating system in the virtual machine. After seeing the system desktop, execute the command "Operation → Install or Upgrade Add-on Module". At this point, the virtual machine automatically loads the add-on module into the virtual CD-ROM drive and automatically runs the installation program. Then complete the installation all the way, and then restart the virtual machine.
Tip: If the add-on module does not run automatically, please double-click the CD icon in Vista operating system to run it or right-click to execute the "Auto Run" command.
2. Switch to the "Virtual PC Console" window, click the "Settings" button, select the "* * * Shared Folders" item in the opened dialog box, click the "* * Shared Folders" button, and select the * * * physical hard disk or folder to share, and the virtual machine will automatically assign drive letters to these * * * shared folders. You can also specify yourself in the "Drive Letter" item.
3. Now go back to your virtual machine Vista operating system, double-click to open "Computer", and you will see the * * * shared folder in "My Computer". Double-click to open these * * * shared folders, and you can read and write them at will.
Tip: It is also very simple for the virtual machine operating system to surf the Internet with a real machine. You can select the "Network Connection" item in the "Settings" dialog box, then set "Adapter 1" to "NAT", and then set the correct gateway to make the virtual machine enjoy the Internet easily. To call external devices such as printers in the virtual machine, you can select your corresponding port such as LPT 1 in the settings dialog box and set its value as "physical LPT". Other devices, such as COM ports, work in a similar way.
