The test of English for international communication, translated from Chinese into English for international communication, is an English proficiency test designed by the Education Examination Service Center for people who use English to communicate in an international working environment.

Government departments in Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and other countries all adopt toeic test to evaluate the English communication ability of civil servants and new employees. A considerable number of the world's top 500 enterprises entering China adopt toeic test to establish an evaluation system for their English communication ability as an internal standard for personnel recruitment, promotion, overseas employment and staff training.

In addition, all Irish national universities accept TOEIC scores, and the admission standard is 750 points. The American Professional Licensing Examination Board for Nurses (CGFNS) accepts toeic scores. Technical training: TOEIC test scores are used to determine whether a person has enough English ability to participate in training taught in English and learn something from it.
