What do forestry majors learn as follows:

There are four majors in forestry, namely: forestry design, forest protection, forestry (urban forestry direction) and forestry (forest fire prevention direction, only for national defense students).

Employment direction:

Forestry enterprises: forest seedling production, forest cultivation; Government and institutions: forest protection, forest resources monitoring and forest management.

Curriculum system:

Botany, forest soil science, forest seedling production technology, forest investigation technology, forest construction technology, wild plant resource cultivation and utilization technology, forest pest control technology, forest management, forest resource asset evaluation and forestry "3S" information.

Training requirements:

Forestry technology major mainly faces Liaoning, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, forestry enterprises and institutions and the front line of ecological construction, cultivates and supports the basic line of the party, develops morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, and adapts to the needs of modern forestry development.

With the basic theory, professional knowledge and practical skills of forestry technology, high-quality and high-skilled professionals can be competent for post work such as forest seedling production, forest construction, forest management, forest investigation, forest resource management, forest protection, forestry ecological engineering construction and management.
