The Chinese Football Association (CFA) is the governing body of football in China, which is called China Football Association or Football Association for short in China.

Founded in 1955, headquartered in Beijing, it is a national, non-profit and sports organization voluntarily formed by organizations engaged in football in China. According to legal authorization and government entrustment, he manages national football affairs, and is the only member of the International Football Federation and the Asian Football Federation representing China.

The AFC Coaches Convention is an agreement and contract reached between the AFC and its member associations on training coaches of different levels, which is divided into three levels of qualification certification: B, A and occupation. A member association that has obtained a certain level will be granted the right to award the corresponding level certificate, the training conference logo and the AFC certificate guide.

AFC launched this convention from 20 17, aiming at training high-quality coaches with the same standards. After nearly two years' careful preparation, China Football Association officially passed the highest level of AFC-professional coach certification in April 20 19, becoming the second national association to obtain professional certification qualification after Japanese Football Association (obtained in February 20 18).

Only Japan, China and Qatar in Asia have obtained this certification.
