Tianjin Arts and Crafts Vocal Music Institute, located in Tianjin, is a public art vocational college established in Tianjin with the approval of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education.

The college, formerly known as Tianjin Academy of Arts and Crafts, was founded by a group of teachers from Tianjin Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. 1959. Its name, like the Palace Museum and Bank of China, was written by the famous writer Mr. Guo Moruo. Tianjin Institute of Arts and Crafts was once called "Small Central Gongmei".

Ranked among the top ten national arts and crafts colleges, it was merged into the Tianjin Campus of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts), but it was abandoned for some reasons. At present, all the alumni of the Academy of Arts and Crafts teach in famous schools, such as Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Suzhou Craft and so on.

Tianjin Institute of Arts and Crafts was merged with Tianjin Vocational College of Culture and Arts. From June 5438 to February 2004, with the approval of Tianjin Municipal Government, Tianjin Arts and Crafts Workers College (including Tianjin Arts and Crafts School) was separated from Tianjin Vocational College of Culture and Arts and established Tianjin Vocational College of Arts and Crafts.

The college has a strong faculty, and 80% of the teachers are professors, associate professors and lecturers. In their long-term teaching practice, they have accumulated rich experience and have high teaching experience and artistic attainments. The design level of the college enjoys a high reputation in the society, and many design works have won provincial, municipal and national awards.

It was once rated as "National Advanced Packaging Collective" and "National Advanced Packaging Committee Unit" by the National Packaging Association. For decades, the school has trained a large number of arts and crafts talents. The employment rate of graduates has reached over 95%, and a considerable number of graduates have become elites in the field of arts and crafts. There are nearly 1500 full-time students in higher vocational colleges. Graduates are generally welcomed by social employers.
