Obtaining the certificate requires the assessment and certification of surfing instructors and teachers certified by the Water Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration.

Surfers can only obtain the national surfing rating book issued by the Water Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport if they pass the examination. Surfing certificates have a searchable number, and they can know the coach and surfing club.
