CCNA certification shows the ability to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot medium-sized routing and switching networks. Professionals who have obtained CCNA certification have the corresponding knowledge and skills, can establish connections with remote sites through wide area networks, eliminate basic security threats, and understand the requirements of wireless network access. CCNA certification validity period
CCNA certification is valid for 3 years. After 3 years, you need to take the recertification exam. If you have obtained a higher level of cisco certified in these three years, the validity period of CCNA certification will be automatically updated. After the CCNA recertification exam expires, you must take the exam of 640-822 ICND, or take the exam of any subject of CCNP, CCDP, CCIP and CCSP, or take the exam of any subject with the prefix of 642-XXX in Cisco Qualified College. If you need to re-certify, you must pass the existing CCNA exam, or ICND exam, or pass any 642 professional level or Cisco qualified expert exam (excluding the sales expert exam), or pass the existing CCIE written test.
