Qufu Chinese Medicine School is a full-time general secondary specialized school approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government in May, 1988. It is located in Qufu, the birthplace of oriental culture and the hometown of Confucius, a great thinker, politician and educator. The school takes advantage of Qufu's unique geographical and humanistic advantages to inherit Confucian culture and traditional Chinese medicine education. The school has four campuses, covering a total area of more than 530 mu, with a building area of 1 1.07 million square meters and 366 teaching and administrative staff, including 336 full-time teachers. Nearly 40 teachers hold academic positions inside and outside the province, with rich papers, teaching materials and news media reports, enjoying a high social reputation. The school has 158 modern laboratories, multimedia classrooms and teaching instruments and training equipment worth 32 million yuan.

The school mainly offers three-year technical secondary school, three-year junior college, "3+4" counterpart training undergraduate education, rural doctor training and adult higher education. There are four demonstration schools of Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine nursing and Chinese medicine rehabilitation health care, and three backbone majors of nursing, rehabilitation technology and pharmacy. There are 62 teaching hospitals at or above the county level in and outside the province, with more than 8,000 registered students of all kinds. Every year, they train various short-term training courses, such as popularization of appropriate techniques of traditional Chinese medicine and scraping teachers of traditional Chinese medicine 1 10,000.

The school is now a national model school for the reform and development of secondary vocational education, a member unit of the National Chinese Medicine Teaching Steering Committee, a national rural Chinese medicine knowledge and skills training base, a national Chinese medicine health care service standard research and development base and a professional training base, a pilot construction unit for information teaching in Shandong Province, a pilot unit for modern apprenticeship of Chinese medicine in Shandong Province, and a continuing education and training base for Chinese medicine in Jining City. Jining City Labor and Social Security Bureau set up "Professional Skills Appraisal Institute of Chinese Medicine Industry" in our school. Over the past 20 years, the province has trained more than 30,000 graduates of various types, and a large number of graduates have become business backbones or assumed heavy responsibilities in leadership positions.
