I am unhappy at work now and want to quit.
There are several reasons for wanting to change jobs:

1) Dislike: I don't like the work content, I'm bored, I can't learn anything or have no sense of accomplishment; Do not like the company, do not like the company's culture, system requirements and atmosphere, do not like the boss, no level, unfair, strong, high pressure; Don't like colleagues, can't integrate, be excluded, be isolated.

2) Incompetence: the work pressure is high and the difficulty is high. I always make mistakes, be criticized and questioned, which seriously affects my self-confidence.

3) No prospect: the job has no technical content, high substitutability, declining company and industry, low income and no room for promotion.

1

Step 1: Define the problem

Finding out the problem is the first step to solve it. What is the reason for wanting to resign? Blind persistence is not encouraged, and it is even more difficult to give up easily.

If you want to leave, you have to find out why you want to leave, whether to stop loss in time or avoid difficulties.

A person's professional status is not satisfactory, generally there are the following situations:

1) Competency >; The requirement of the enterprise is that you will feel bored, bored at work, depressed and lack passion, and as a result, you will either be lazy or get along.

2) when the ability

3) When the enterprise does not give back enough, you will complain that you have paid so much but your ability to make money has not improved, and you will be dissatisfied.

4) It's the worst when you don't know your own needs or even what you want. It's good to see someone else join an internet company today. People who do finance tomorrow are very demanding and will follow suit to operate from the media, but they don't know why they should do this at all, so they will fall into a confused mood.

The essence of occupation is exchange. We use our own abilities and resources to provide products and services for specific groups and get spiritual and material returns. To put it bluntly, it is to exchange what we have for what we want.

Insufficient ability to get what you want; I don't know what I want or how to change it.

Taking the topic as an example, the article only mentions "at present, the company's management is rather chaotic, and its functions have been unclear" and "I don't know when I started to feel very tired, and my personal mood is irritable".

Therefore, we don't know what the subject has and what he wants, at least in the description. Not only the subject may not know, but many people may not know what they have and what they want.

Only by figuring out what the problem is, can we know whether the problem should be "I can't go on working and want to change careers" or "the company will change jobs if the feedback is not enough" or "I don't know what I really want, so I have to change jobs".

The solutions to different problems are different. It is these different solutions that have changed the trajectory of our lives. Wrong question+right solution = wrong result, only right question+right solution = right result.

When analyzing the reasons, most people are prone to make fundamental attribution mistakes, especially when the situation is not good. We tend to think that things happen because of external circumstances beyond our control, such as unsatisfactory work. We will feel that the company is not good, the boss is not good, and the colleagues are not good.

When we succeed, we tend to believe that this is the result of our talent and hard work. This may be true, but when others succeed, our prejudice often makes us think that ta is lucky, has chosen the right career direction, entered a good company, followed the right boss and so on.

Step 2: Inventory income

Since work is a transaction, it is sure to gain something. Don't be happy as soon as you hear the harvest, because the unsatisfactory harvest is likely to be negative, and the negative harvest is the lesson. Lessons learned from your own practice are much more useful than a hundred truths. Of course, only if you sum them up first.

So we need to ask ourselves a few questions: in this job

1) What are my good and bad points?

2) What is my biggest gain? How to continue to get this kind of income in the future?

3) What have I lost from this job? How to avoid similar situations afterwards?

This summary is a kind of counter-offer. No matter how much truth you have heard, how many books you have read and how many lessons you have taken, it is difficult to make a big change, because you will repeat the previous wrong pattern and follow the past experience. If you don't teach yourself, reality will teach you in various cruel ways.

three

Step 3: Find a solution

Good job = ability * willingness * prospect, the three coexist at the same time, and neither will last long. To know what you want to do in your next job, you can't do without understanding and analyzing these three dimensions:

1) the weight of career choice: find your own ability board.

Ability is divided into three levels:

Knowledge: refers to what we know, including factual knowledge and empirical knowledge (laws, operating procedures, product knowledge).

Skills: Things that can be operated or completed (speech, data analysis, sales skills) are combined with knowledge to become professional abilities.

Traits: thinking mode, feeling or behavior, personality (rational, procrastinating, cheerful, sensitive)

Is it lack of knowledge, poor skills or personality mismatch? It depends on whether it is congenital or acquired. Generally speaking, knowledge and skills can be acquired through acquired learning, as long as this field is not our short-board field. What do you mean?

For example, financial and data analysis needs to be sensitive to numbers. If you are born with a weak sense of numbers, it will be very difficult to learn these knowledge and skills. It is the same as learning arts and sciences in our student days, and the characteristics are the same. If it is a job that focuses on interpersonal communication, such as sales, HR recruitment and training positions, and you are naturally quiet and don't like too much interpersonal communication, even if you are a schoolmaster, it is difficult to engage in jobs with too many different characteristics from yourself.

By analyzing which abilities don't match the current job, you can effectively find your own long board and short board. When choosing a job, you should foster strengths and avoid weaknesses, avoid your own short board field, give priority to the long board field, and don't say that you are useless.

In fact, I have interviewed thousands of these people and had one-on-one consultation with hundreds of people. No one is really useless. Everyone has his own long board, find his own advantages and regard him as the weight of our career choice.

2) The source of continuous work: find your own interests and enthusiasm.

Will is largely determined by our interest and enthusiasm, and interest is often influenced by our ability. After all, no one will always like the bad things they have been doing. On the contrary, what you are good at will gradually grow into love because of positive feedback.

The judgment of interest must be the conclusion after hard work and real practice, not the conclusion based on the first feeling of like or dislike. In fact, what we liked at first may be what we imagined.

For example, one of my students who changed careers thought he was interested in floral art at first, and spent a lot of time and energy studying it. After taking floral art as a job, he soon became bored.

Taking the interest dimension as the criteria for choosing a job is a pit. It is easy for people to be confused by some chicken soup articles, thinking that if they find something they love, they can fight back and their lives will be ruined.

The fact is that there are very few people who love their jobs in reality, and it is estimated that many people will feel happier without working. Therefore, interest is only one of the three dimensions of a good job. Don't overemphasize love. Natural love is good, but it doesn't matter if you don't hate it.

Finally, taking doing what you like as your ideal career is based on the premise that you have the ability to do what you like, otherwise it is just wishful thinking.

3) the cornerstone of the counterattack: choose a promising field.

It seems that everyone has a knowledge that industry is very important. Choose the right tuyere, pigs can go to heaven. The current chicken soup text also spares no effort to advocate this. The real situation is actually quite complicated. Choosing the right field is important, but not so important because it is difficult.

For example, if everyone's career is like a snowball, then the road long enough and snowy enough is the field we want to choose. This field includes both industry, company and work, so it is very important to choose the right path.

The problem is that any economy and individual has a life cycle. Our career is generally 30-40 years, and the life cycle of an industry is 20-30 years, such as real estate, finance and Internet, and as short as several years, such as Internet finance.

Many times, your snowball has not finished rolling, and the road is over; There are two worse situations. One is to rush in and crush it for a long time to form a road, and there is nothing, or it is almost over, and there is little snow, and you have just started and been busy for a long time, and your income is extremely disproportionate.

Rushing in without forming is like entering before starting, and it is easy to become a martyr. When entering the recession, a person's youth is wasted on an old sinking ship and accidentally buried with it.

For ordinary people, the best outcome is that their career development starts at the same time as the start-up period of an industry, or it is good to enter in the growth period, but even so, it is difficult for you to retire in an industry in the future, and transformation is the inevitable development of the times.

Because the speed of social and economic development is far faster than any previous era, and it will only get faster and faster. The criteria for choosing industries in the past cannot be applied to the present.

We have several criteria to quickly identify promising industries:

1, the average salary is high.

2. A large number of outstanding talents poured in.

3. The threshold is not low

4, a lot of overtime

5. The recruitment volume is not small.

In short, it will make you feel prosperous and energetic.

On the other hand, it can be used to judge less promising industries, and it can also be used to exclude industries in recession. In fact, keeping calm is not the most important thing. The most important thing is to avoid declining industries.

In addition, I didn't enter the tuyere industry at first, and then there were other ways to find opportunities:

1) Cultivate your ability and increase your weight.

2) Keep in touch with the outside world and pay attention to social and economic development.

3) Broaden your horizons and abilities through study and investment. When the last chance comes, I can seize it.

Change and choice are the result of your active pursuit. To achieve good results, we must improve our cognition and practice.
