1. China Fire and Rescue College is located in Nanyan Road, Nankou Town, Changping District, Beijing. It is the first undergraduate college specializing in fire rescue in China and the only national prefix college directly under the Emergency Management Department.
2. The college was formerly known as the Armed Police College. Undergraduate education began in 2004, and in 2008, the right to study for ten degrees was granted. After more than 40 years of continuous development, a talent training system with forest fire prevention as the core and supported by gold geological exploration, hydropower construction, traffic construction and emergency rescue has been established, which has trained more than 50,000 emergency rescue talents for troop transportation.
3. Cooperate with Tsinghua University, China University of Science and Technology, Beijing Normal University Q and other eight universities to run schools, and jointly build a key laboratory of emergency rescue and space information technology with Peking University Q * *, with a comprehensive verification field for UAV remote sensing system listed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and a training base for UAV flight controllers in fixed airspace.
4. As a Class A supporting unit approved by the National Natural Science Foundation, it undertakes more than 80 national and military emergency rescue projects, and more than 20 research results directly serve the practice of disaster prevention, mitigation and relief.
5. It has successively carried out rescue missions for severe forest fires in Heilongjiang, Shanxi and earthquake disasters in Ludian and Nepal, Yunnan, and realized the transnational rescue operation of the Armed Police Force for the first time, providing strong talent and intellectual support for the development of emergency rescue construction.
