Quanzhou Electric Power School is a technical secondary school directly under the former Ministry of Electric Power and a full-time general secondary school directly managed by Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd. 1984 was established in April, and 1994 was rated as a national key general secondary school by the State Education Commission.

In February 2003, with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's Government, Fujian Electric Power Technical Secondary School was established on the basis of Quanzhou Electric Power School. College is an ordinary secondary vocational school at the junior college level, which mainly focuses on full-time higher vocational education and carries out various forms of non-academic education at the same time.

Fujian Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is located at the foot of Qingyuan Mountain, a national scenic spot in the north of Quanzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China. The college covers an area of nearly 200 mu, with a construction area of nearly 70,000 square meters. It was awarded the title of "Garden Campus".
