? Quanzhou Medical College is located on the banks of Luoyang River in Quanzhou, a cultural capital of East Asia, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese and a famous historical and cultural city. It is a full-time public national demonstration (backbone) medical and health vocational college. The school was founded in 1934, formerly known as Huishi Senior Nursing School. 1986 was renamed Quanzhou Health School. In May 2004, it was upgraded to Quanzhou Medical College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
