What if I fail the exam?
You can take the final exam for several years. 2 years is 1 cycle. It is divided into written test and skill, both of which must be passed within 2 years. If you fail one course, you will enter the next cycle, that is, the third year, and you will have to retake these two courses, both of which will be retaken.

Residents take clinical practice, professional compulsory courses and public compulsory courses as the main training contents, and obtain corresponding course credits through examinations in two stages.

Training mode: clinical practice is mainly based on on-the-job training and guided by departments. Self-study is the main compulsory course for foreign languages and majors. Some public compulsory courses and elective courses are completed by face-to-face lectures in amateur classes, and credits can also be obtained by self-study and taking course level exams.

After working for 5 years, the credits meet the requirements, and the resident training certificate is issued after passing the clinical ability examination, which is a necessary condition for applying for the qualification of intermediate professional and technical positions. Some on-the-job clinicians who apply for a degree in clinical medicine have been engaged in clinical work for more than 3 years, completed the first stage of standardized training for residents and passed the examination, and can be awarded the qualification certificate of standardized training for residents.
