What are the job-hunting scams of recent graduates?

Now the biggest wish of fresh graduates is to find a suitable job. Due to the lack of social experience, college students will always encounter one kind of scam or another in the process of job hunting. For example, unreliable false recruitment, beautifying recruitment positions, turning salesmen into "marketing managers" and calling insurance salesmen "insurance managers" and so on. From "campus people" to "workplace people", how can fresh graduates effectively avoid the job trap? Today, I made a special inventory of six common scams in job hunting and listed the countermeasures. Graduates need to distinguish between "pies" and "traps" in job hunting, and be vigilant and beware of being deceived.

Scam 1: no training fee and no salary.

Applicant: I received an interview notice from a company. After I went, I found it was quite formal. I didn't ask for any fees. Let me try it for a while before I consider whether to accept it. I worked hard for a month, and as a result, they said that I lacked professional knowledge, so I had to take part in the internal training of the company and pay 300 yuan for the training. I don't want to, the other party said, you can leave without paying the training fee. A month's salary is impossible.

Suggestion: It is not uncommon to cheat training fees by taking admission as bait, but there are still graduates who are eager to find jobs and fall into such traps. Generally, regular companies will explain the salary during the probation period to job seekers, and even if they fail to pass the examination during the probation period, job seekers will be paid accordingly. In addition, according to the relevant regulations, the employer shall not charge any fees to job seekers on the grounds of recruitment. Collect registration fees, training fees, etc. In fact, it is a means and method for some enterprises to collect money in disguise. We need to be wary of such charges under the banner of recruitment. Don't blindly pay money to avoid being cheated, and at the same time keep relevant evidence so as to safeguard your rights and interests in the future.

Scam 2: There is a big gap between pre-tax and after-tax wages.

Applicant: I interviewed a company and negotiated a "basic salary" of 3,000 yuan. At that time, I thought it was 3000 yuan, and I signed it without reading the contract. Because of the heavy work, I work 10 hours every day. On the day of payday, I found that I only got 2000 yuan. I directly consulted the personnel department and was told that "taxes, clothing and training fees were deducted ..."

Suggestion: Salary is actually a very vague concept. There is a common difference between pre-tax salary and after-tax salary. Although some employers claim that the salary is very high, the actual salary of job seekers is completely different from the expected amount. After careful inquiry, I learned that the company has withheld various related expenses from it. Therefore, before the formal signing of the employment contract, we must clearly discuss the salary and treatment, and clearly indicate it in the labor contract. Once an enterprise is found not to perform its wages, insurance and welfare benefits, it can report to the local labor and social security department and solve it in time to avoid greater losses.

Trick 3: "Business Manager" who must advertise on the street.

Applicant: I suddenly received an email from a real estate company informing me to interview a "business manager". The salary is very generous, which is three times the market price of similar positions. I looked it up on the Internet, only to find that the academic requirements in the recruitment brochure are actually technical secondary schools. I also found complaints from various job seekers on the Internet, saying that they didn't sign labor contracts at all after joining the company, and "business managers" had to advertise all over the street. ...

Suggestion: Usually, such companies have low standards for recruiting graduates to work in the company, but the promised high salary will not be fulfilled, and there are all kinds of irregular employment. If you receive an interview notice from a company that has never submitted a resume, you should inquire in advance to verify the company's situation. You can search the company's website online to determine its scale and employment needs, and then go for an interview.

Scam 4: claiming that an enterprise defrauded the agency fee.

Job-seeker: I accidentally saw an employment agency on the Internet that can recommend job-seekers to enter the top 500 enterprises because I was eager to find a job. After consultation, the other party asked me to pay the fee of 1500 yuan before I could arrange the recommendation. In order to get into the top 500, I paid online. Who knows that after the payment, the other party delayed recommending the job for more than a month. After repeated urging, I was told: I will inform you when I get in touch. ...

Suggestion: Everyone wants to enter a famous enterprise, and some graduates who are eager to find a job believe it when they see the advertisement "Make sure you enter the top 500". In the end, not only did my wish to join the top 500 fail, but all the fees I paid, such as registration fee, consulting fee, service fee and information fee, could not be recovered, and I was completely "empty of money." Therefore, the "black intermediary" must not believe that the pie will not be lost in vain. Job seekers with real talent and practical knowledge are welcomed by top 500 enterprises.

Scam 5: the monthly salary has shrunk from 8000 to 3000.

Applicant: I saw an advertisement in the newspaper for an "IT manager" with a monthly salary of 8,000 yuan. After two interviews, I learned that the monthly salary during the probation period was 3,000 yuan, or the salary before tax, and it was 2,500 yuan when I got it; After becoming a full member, it is possible to reach 8000 yuan through various assessments and performance bonuses. With the idea of "learning first", I signed a probation contract first. But after only two months, the other party dismissed me on the grounds that I had "no development potential".

Suggestion: The salary offered by some enterprises in the recruitment information is very attractive to college graduates, and there is no entry threshold, and the interview procedure is simple. When signing the contract, I was only told that the monthly salary during the probation period was only about 2000 yuan. When the probationary period of these newcomers in the workplace is coming to an end, enterprises will find a reason to dismiss them during the probationary period, or they will be dismissed after the probationary period, which will make college graduates unspeakable. For this kind of recruitment tactics, graduates must be vigilant, know their own strength, start from the foundation and gradually show their talents, and don't believe in the temptation of high salary.

Deception 6: The Employment Agreement cannot replace the labor contract.

Applicant: One month before graduation, I signed an employment agreement for college graduates with a private enterprise. After graduation, that unit has never signed a labor contract with me. I don't take it seriously because I don't understand the importance of signing a labor contract. After working hard for four months, the company suddenly laid me off, and finally I didn't get any compensation.

Suggestion: "Employment Agreement" cannot replace labor contract. Only by the "employment agreement", after students formally report for employment, their labor rights cannot be guaranteed. Article 10 of the Labor Contract Law clearly stipulates that "to establish labor relations, a written labor contract shall be concluded. If a labor relationship has been established and a written labor contract has not been concluded at the same time, a written labor contract shall be concluded within one month from the date of employment.
