Fuping County, which belongs to Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Baoding City, at the east foot of the north-central Taihang Mountain and at the upper reaches of Shahe River in Daqing River system. It is the intersection of two provinces, four cities and nine counties, bordering Tangxian County and Quyang County in the east, Xingtang County, Pingshan County and Lingshou County in Shijiazhuang City in the south, Wutai County in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province in the west and Fan Shi in Shanxi Province in the northwest.

The school has been recognized as China Vocational Education Society Warm Project Implementation Base, National Sunshine Project Training Base, Hebei Poverty Alleviation Training Base and Fuping County Cadre party member Training Center. In 2004, it was rated as "National Key Secondary Vocational School", in 2006 it was rated as a national pilot school for work-study program, in 20/0/3 it was rated as a national model school for the reform and development of secondary vocational education, and in April 20/0/4 it was rated as an advanced unit of national vocational education.
