The training time of "Four Small Certificates" is about 15-20 days. In addition, chefs and waiters also need to retrain MLC certificates, that is, chef certificates on board. The training time of this certificate is about 20-30 days. Therefore, the overall training time of the chef on board should be about 2 months.

The ship's chef needs to have a service book, four certificates and a crew certificate for international routes. If they are foreigners, they will need passports, health certificates, epidemic prevention certificates, and preferably a chef's certificate, but this is not mandatory.
