Jinzhou Modern Service School is a large-scale public comprehensive modern vocational school established by the former School of Finance and Economics, the First Vocational College and the Art Kindergarten School in April 201May in order to optimize the layout structure of vocational education and integrate vocational education resources. It belongs to Jinzhou Education Bureau. The school is divided into two campuses: Finance School and Vocational College, which are located on the south bank of He Xiaoling Water Park and the east bank of Beihu Park respectively, covering an area of 150 mu, with a construction area of nearly 70,000 square meters.
The school has simulation training rooms such as accounting, e-commerce, logistics management, art design, computer application, cooking, cakes, restaurants, guest rooms, bars, tea art, shops, beauty rooms, dressing rooms, hairdressing operation rooms, film and television production rooms, dance classrooms, studios, piano classrooms and vocal music classrooms.
The school has a complete campus network, using 50MDDN optical fiber to access the Internet, modern libraries, audio-visual halls, gymnasiums, teaching buildings, training buildings, student apartments, dining centers and other facilities, and advanced multimedia network classroom facilities.
The school has 429 teaching staff and 356 full-time teachers, including 50 graduate students, professor-level senior lecturer 15, senior lecturer10/person, lecturer 164, and double-qualified teacher 146. It is a school with strong professional ability, high comprehensive quality and reasonable structure.
The school now offers many majors, such as accounting, e-commerce (market development and marketing), art design and production (decorative art design), art painting, project cost, domestic service and management, computer application, operation and management of high-star hotels, aviation service, Chinese cooking and nutritious diet, hairdressing and image design, fashion design and technology, preschool education and so on. Among them, accounting, e-commerce, hotel service and management, cooking, marketing and computer application are provincial demonstration majors, while beauty and image design are provincial backbone majors.
In recent years, the school has been identified as a pilot unit for vocational skill appraisal in Liaoning Province, and has undertaken vocational skill appraisal for 2 1 post in modern service industries such as cooking, hotel service, computer and beauty salon. Students can obtain more than two vocational qualification certificates at the same time after graduation. The school is also a member of the National Secondary School of Finance and Economics Cooperative, Liaoning E-commerce Training Center in western Liaoning, Jinzhou Accounting Personnel Qualification Training Base and Jinzhou Re-employment Training Base.
