1, Chinese mainland candidates must bring the only valid certificate, that is, the original China People's Identity Card, to take the CET-5. According to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Resident Identity Cards, any resident, regardless of age, can apply for an identity card at the local police station. Young candidates who have not applied for an ID card are specially reminded to apply for an ID card in advance so as not to affect the exam.

2. Hong Kong and Macao candidates must hold valid Hong Kong and Macao ID cards, Hong Kong and Macao passes or passports.

3. Candidates in Taiwan Province Province must hold a valid original mainland travel permit for taiwan residents.
